Unless you have something that's commonly cafe'd like a honda CB500/550 you'll have to make you're own - or just not have them, I don't. Handlebars are the easy part. The real old school way to do it is to flip your stock bar over and see if it will work, it may, it may not. after that you have the options of clips ons, drag bars, or clubman bars. your choice.

1981 Kawasaki Ltd 450 In Westland MI Modern Classics Car Lot
4 weeks ago I had this KZ440 given to me. I've been wanting to do a cafe racer build for some time, so I dove in and "finished" it in 4 weeks. This is my first project - learned a lot and still have some issues/ questions so I thought I would post here. I'll start with a before and after photo, then post pics of the process.

(And a lot of matt-black:D) In the end, everything went a bit more complicated than expected, but no problem because I was only a FaceTime call away from a good and helpful tip.

Hmm it is a bit long. A true cafe racer style is hard on an LTD. Better suited for a brat style unless you're willing to do more cutting and welding.. And the Honda 450 "Superhawk" puts out only a bit more than half the power of your Kawasaki (yet the Honda costs double on Craigslist).

For 2019 Kawasaki have resurrected and upgraded their popular W800 Street model and added a cafe racer version to boot. It's now Euro 4 compliant and A2 licence friendly but surprisingly still air-cooled for maximum retro effect. You do get a modern LED headlight and ABS subtly designed in though.
